Dodge выпустил очередную лимитированную серию Charger SRT8 под именем, известным с 1968 года...

Да-да, впервые Dodge Super Bee предложили покупателям на излете 60-х - но уже тогда это было нечто весьма любопытное, поскольку в основе такого предложения лежала идея «много мощности за немного денег»...

Если вы читаете эти строки стоя - лучше присядьте: за 3027 долларов предлагалась базовая «супер-пчелка», под капотом у которой стоял 383-й Magnum мощностью 335 л.с., позволявший разменять 100 км/ч через 6.8 секунды после старта. Покупатель мог купить и другое купе - тоже с V8, но уже с индексом «426 Hemi» и мощностью 425 л.с..

Цена такого «мёда» возростала сразу на 33% - так что купить Dodge Super Bee 426 Hemi образца 1968 года отважилось всего 125 человек.

Super Bee 21 века - это уже не купе, а седан на базе модели Charger SRT8: воскрешенную «супер-пчелку» представили в январе 2006-го, в Детройте, как лимитированную модель 2007-го модельного года...

И понеслась: цвет - Detonator Yellow, двигатель - естественно HEMI V-8. Объем - 6.1 литра, мощность - как в старые добрые 60-е: 425 л.с. Помните, как в рекламе: а мне больше и не нужно! Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee-2007 (на фото выше) продали всего 1000 штук.

В 2008-м Charger SRT8 Super Bee сменил окрас: кузов покрывали голубым цветом B5 Blue Pearl Coat, который был фирменной фишкой концерна Chrysler, в который входит Dodge, на протяжении 60-70-х годов. Выпустили все те же 1000 экземпляров (на фото выше).

2009-й модельный год Charger SRT8 Super Bee встретил в фирменном Hemi Orange Pearl Coat - и с серебристыми тормозными суппортами Brembo. Таких машин сделали всего 425 штук.

И вот «супер-пчелка» принесла очередную порцию сладенького:

Цвет - на выбор желтый Stinger Yellow или черный Pitch Black, а 20-дюймовые колеса и черные «тормозилки» Brembo намекают на то, что полакомиться можно всласть. Все-таки 6.4-литровый HEMI V-8 выдает 470 л.с. - и столько же ньютон-метров крутящего момента!
Дебют Charger SRT8 Super Bee 2012 модельного года только что справил на автосалоне в Лос Анджелесе...
